Design Board: Liberty of London for Target

Target just keeps getting better…I am sure if you are a Target junkie like myself then you have probably seen or at least heard about the sweet new line they are carrying by Liberty of London.  The ditzy and large scale floral prints that make up the collection are vintage inspired and a fun addition to any decor.  I stumbled across the crib bedding from this line and immediately fell in LOVE!!  Here is the crib bedding pictured along with a few other ideas to inspire you…

Think it can all be a bit much but I’m absolutely loving the Liberty lampshades – they add a beautiful touch without going over the top.

Jaime, have you seen the lampshades in person? They are substantial in size and are much better in person that the pics on-line. My target was completely sold out ):

Hi Rebecca. Target really is a great stop when you’re putting together your kids’ rooms. I absolutely DROOL over their pastels, but I have two sons and my hubby have decreed that pastels are definitely out of the question! So I’m usually stuck with the whites and the boring earthy colors or deep blue. Still I do agree with you that Liberty has some great stuff too, so that takes some of the annoyance at being limited away.

It’s nice to see you having fun though. I’m just praying that the next one (am 6 months on the way!) would give me the opportunity to try out their pastels! Pinks and violets, here I come (I hope!) I’m definitely getting that crib set!

I love this floral line! I really go gaga over floral prints and I am so glad they are back. There was a time when simple, plain, basic, minimalist and clean lines were the trend, and although I found them elegant and classic, the girly-girl in me still prefers flowers and dashes of bright colors here and there! And oh, I don’t know anyone who doesn’t love Target. I love their collection of home accessories.
