Splish, Splash!

Bathroom decor is sure fun again. I’ve been around a lot of really fabulous children’s bathrooms recently. I was able to view the latest San Francisco Designer Showcase House which features a Coco Channel inspired Girls Bathroom by designer Nancy Van Natta that is to die. I mean Coco did say, “A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous.”

And if you didn’t catch our feature of Max’s Modern Blues NYC bedroom and bathroom, don’t miss it. I’m now ready to tackle my own children’s bathroom.  I haven’t decided my design direction but here are some fun bathroom accessories for inspiration…

Nice post, Pam! I think bathroooms sometimes become last priority when decorating kids rooms! Not for me! My kids have a fabulous Jack & Jill bathroom that is jungle/zebra themed! It’s classy and not too cutesy, but they like it since it’s animals! I’ll have to share a photo! :)

Those colored zebra towels are super cute! (theirs are brown/cream)

I love the fun lighting in this designer bathroom. What is it exactly? Kim, we’ll definitely have to post your kids bathroom (or anyone else who sends in theirs!). Mine is currently covered in 1965 tile although I have this whole vision of white and kelly green for a theme! Hopefully I’ll see it come to fruition by the fall!

There are so many original ideas in that bathroom! Total WOW factor.
I never would have even considered pink cabinetry but it definitely works.

Consider using nautical elements or huge photographic posters of dolphins, seahorses or jellyfish for the bathroom. They make very interesting features to that one place in the the home most associated with water: very apt!

I was searching through Google doing research for a blog article, when I found this blog, and while not what I was exactly looking for I found it very informative and interesting and spent alot of time reading it, instead of doing research! Thanks Isabelle xx

When it comes to remodeling small bathroom, the biggest headache is the space. Luckily, I came across your site when searching for small bathroom ideas. And your article really makes sense and I decide to give it a try. I will come back to tell you good news! Good luck to me! :)

Ive found with my kids the more color the better. I even made and now sell toilet tank runners with various prints on ebay and ecrater, fish/sea life, frogs, rubber duckies and all types of holiday prints. They’re super easy to change out and change things up and the kids love when they come into the bathroom for bathtime and there’s a new one on the toilet tank.

The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as a lot as this one.I mean, I know it was my option to read, but I in fact thought youd have some thing interesting to say.All I hear can be a bunch of whining about something that you could fix should you werent too busy searching for attention.

naturally like your website however you need to check the spelling on quite a few of your posts. Many of them are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to inform the reality then again I will surely come again again.
