Whimsical Eclectic Nursery

Description

I really loved this nursery project because I designed this space for my cousin's sweet baby girl. I was inspired by a palette of pinks and neutral patterns and textures. My cousin wanted an eclectic mix of boho & whimsy all while keeping the room design simple. She had an existing crib and rocker, so our first purchase was the wide dresser from Ikea which doubled as a changing table.  Next was the rich pink colored rug from World Market and the adorable poodle bedding from Land of Nod. To keep it simple, I hung a delicate feather mobile above the crib and left the wall behind the crib blank. We added the wall decor last, which was a combination of animals heads (Land of Nod) and shelves (Urban Outfitters). The end result was soft yet fun nursery that can grow and transition as baby grows.
