Listen folks, I too was skeptical. A couple simple scoops of formula, add water and shake. How hard is it really to make a baby bottle? Well, I say, don’t knock it until you try it. Baby Brezza is a brand that prides itself on making life with baby a little bit easier, which is why they’ve created the Formula Pro, or what I like to refer to as my beloved baby latte maker.
With all my children, I supplement with formula when my busy schedule doesn’t allow me to be home to breastfeed or when I want to give my baby a hearty dream feed to selfishly catch a few more zzz’s. So when the opportunity to be introduced to a product coined as the “Keurig for Infants designed to make the perfectly mixed bottle in seconds,” I thought to myself, is this truly necessary? After all, I prefer a clean kitchen counter, and the last thing I need is another kitchen gadget.
Fast-forward to the present and my baby bottle maker now takes center stage in the former location of my Vitamix. Oh how I’ve changed my tune after only a couple of weeks and here’s why:
Formula is stored in an airtight compartment and a removable water tank directly in the machine so it sits ready for action when the baby is hungry. You can make a 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 ounce bottle at the perfect temperature and consistency with just a single push of a button. BAM! you have warm formula that reminds me of the perfect latte.
There is a bit of pre-work when setting up the Formula Pro for the very first time. The orange wheels within the formula compartment must be set to the type of formula you use. I am a number 5. Once I was able to determine my number just by reviewing the formula chart included (also found here online), I was in the baby bottle making business. No longer am I doing bottle making demonstrations for the grandparents and babysitters. I just tell them to push start. Half-asleep in the middle of night, in a dark kitchen, we now just push start. You get the idea.
In my opinion, Baby Brezza’s Formula Pro is the ideal gift for the parent that has it all or one that deserves a little splurge. While this machine is not exactly a feeding essential, it’s become a product I genuinely adore and rely on. Don’t you love it when things work out that way?
