Last weekend we ventured into a children’s design lover’s dream to preview The Land Of Nod’s Fall 2014 collections. From whimsical and dreamy designs to sweet spaces for babies and cool hangouts for boys, charming pieces were showcased in every nook of the showroom.
The cheerful fruit themed nursery, showcasing decorative gold-sprayed fruit on the stunning Gold Standard Wall Shelving was one of our favorites. We also loved the Farmer’s Market Bedding featuring bright fruit prints—available in crib through queen bedding sizes. The accompanying Carousel Crib, in Kelly Green, brings a fun pop of color to any nursery, and the apple pouf complements this tasty look.
Gold Standard Wall Shelf ($69), Orchard Pouf ($69), Carousel Crib ($599), Farmer’s Market Bedding Crib/Toddler ($24 – $59)
The hip toddler can seek refuge in this amazing herringbone teepee and catch his Zzz’s in the sleek Uptown Toddler Bed in gray with matching dresser. Unify the look with a textured rug and matching arrow print sheet set. Bring color to big brother’s room with a Primary Bed in blue and playful bedding. Complete the room with a friendly bear rug.
Uptown Toddler Bed ($299), Uptown 4-Drawer Dresser ($699), Loop the Loops Rug ($179-$579), Iconic Quilt and Sheet Set ($35-$79), Primary Bed ($499), Bear’s Day Off Quilt ($189), Indie Plaid Flannel Sheets ($69), Don’t Feed the Animals Rug ($299-$399)
As parents, we can never get enough of simple storage solutions. I happen to love the clean look of these Dewey Decimal Drawers ($109) that will well outlive the childhood years.
And this Color Weave Toy Box in pink ($249) offers ample storage to tuck away toys.
