Hampton Designer Showhouse Nursery

Okay, so I know this isn’t a “real room;” it’s the nursery designed by Tamara Kaye-Honey, of House of Honey and designer of Nurseryworks’ Uptown Collection, for the Hampton Designer Showhouse event that took place over the summer. Sometimes a design is just so jaw-dropping amazing we can’t help but share it with you all. After all, these designer rooms are all about providing inspiration.

Tamara took this space…

…plus her initial concept…

…and ended up with this stunning nursery. Enjoy!

Beautiful, I love the art work, who is the designer?

That is an awful lot of glass for a nursery. Is the baby going to be made out porcelain, too?

I really like that butterfly installation on the ceiling. It’s one of those elements that give a real interesting twist to the room.

I find the wallpaper and those artworks creepy though.

Nice transformation. Although I have to agree with Zen about some of the elements not very baby-friendly. It’s more of a private salon with a crib.

Do you know where the butterfly came from?
