When I first saw this my first thought was that it was Native American in origin. Looks like it and wonder what the inspiration for it was. When my kids were infants their Native American great grandmother made them hammocks which were hung in doorways and they slept so soundly. Would love to have this for my great grandbabies. The design is amazing . currently what we do for our little one is, we put him in his newborn carseat and swing it from side to side (our son loves the movement and i have amazing arm muscels from rocking him that way)

Just wanted to add that this would be super helpful for our next baby due especially if Daddy is deployed to Afghanistan for a long period again! This would have been a wonderful baby item to have had for my son when my husband was gone for 6 months since my son always wanted to be held and carried around or wrapped up and cuddled – slings and swaddlers helped but it would be absolutely fabulous and shocking to win one of these!!
