Vintage Science Fiction Nursery

Description

My husband is science fiction nerd and once we found out we were having a boy, we decided that his nursery would be sci-fi themed and more specifically vintage sci-fi. The room that is now his nursery is our smallest bedroom (approximately 9x7), so we had to make the most of the small space.

Design Inspiration

Once we knew the theme, I researched vintage sci-fi both on Google and Pinterest and soon found the images of the robots. They are from artist John Golden, originally sold at the Land of Nod. Also, my husband is a huge Star Trek fan so we had to incorporate this some how.

Decorating Style

Modern and clean lines (something that will grow with him.)

Advice

There is a lot of space themed items out there, but did not want ours to be cookie cutter. Spent a lot of time researching different options and found ways to not break the bank so we could splurge on other items.
