Description
After working with Leah's mom in designing their family room and kitchen a few years early, she contacted me to redesigned Leah's bedroom. She wanted a space that wasn't all about trademarked princess but a room that Leah would love now and could grow into. After talking with Leah I found out that she really wanted a canopy, that and the room to have sleepovers:)
Design Inspiration
The inspiration for this project was the fabric used for the canopy. I fell in love with it's colours, (and so did Leah and her mom). So it became my jumping off point for everything else.
Decorating Style
I'm all about creating timeless yet fun spaces that are designed to grow with your child as their needs and tastes change.

Advice
I'm not a fan of matchy- matchy sets. So in my children's room designs packages I love to mix old pieces with new pieces. Sourcing previously loved items not only helps keep the budget in check, but gives a forgot piece new life and adds some fun character to the space.

I am curious where you got the white sphere chandelier. I am looking for one like that for my daughter's room and I did not see where you listed where it was from. Thank you.

WOULD love to know the paint color you used as well as the fabric info for the curtains. Love both those colors.

Hi there! I am trying to recreate the canopy myself and would love to know where you got it/what kind of fabric it is. I'd also love to know the dimensions of the box it is hanging from and how it is all attached. Thank you! This room is gorgeous.

Love this design-and especially Navy Blue paint in a girls room. What color did you use for the accent wall?
