We wanted to create a calm, neutral-colored environment for our son’s nursery. The bird theme was inspired by a pillow that I found at a specialty store, as well as the vintage bird prints.

Oh my, the vintage bird prints are absolutely beautiful. Your theme is very unique and charming. I have seen a few bird themes, but this vintage bird inspiration is the first of its kind I saw.

Your baby is very lucky to be able to use heirloom pieces. It’s so nice of your husband to still be able to keep the cradle his grandad made for him when he was still a baby. The cradle and the rocking chair are, without doubt, the most priceless items in this room. And she’ll be able to keep them until she’s grown up and has kids of her own.

Hi Annanorene: Yes, I’d have to agree that they add a bit of whimsy. If ever there was to be a classical/whimsical accent, this should be it :) Lovely lovely room :)
