I think you are right in saying that you just have to fill the room with the things you love… more importantly, you just have to love what you do and it will show. Congratulations on having Roman, I am sure that he’d be a darling!

I love how much cute stuff you incorporated into the nursery without making it look cluttered or overdone. I was even more impressed when I read that you’re a bargain mom-to-be. Great work!

Thank you so much heelsy!!!! Your compliments mean so much to me!!!!! Yes, I am definitely a bargain mama… some of the stuff in Roman’s nursery even came from the dollar bins at Target :)

Beautiful nursery! I’m a fan of Target, too, and spent a lot of time there picking out things for my baby’s nursery. I also love that you incorporated a favorite toy of your dad’s in the nursery. It’s a beautiful touch to the room. I also lost my dad to cancer (three years ago) and would love to incorporate something of his in the nursery, too. Great job, and congrats!

Wow, I haven’t been on here in a long time…busy with my amazing little man!!!!
Thank you all so very much for the wondeful compliments on Roman’s nursery!!!! They all mean so much to me, really!!!!
aetraylor, yes, I definitely remember the paint colors :) They are Valspar, from Lowes…
the wall color is Manor Stone and the blue stripe is Reflection Pool
As a FTM, I will say that we are getting a lot of use out of this room and I could not be happier with it!!! It may sound silly, but one of my favorite parts is all of the storage bins! It is so nice to have a place for everything and be able to grab it quickly. With one hand. At 3am :)
