Description
Transformation of my office space into a pink and gold modern nursery for our Baby Girl; due any day now!
Design Inspiration
I was inspired by the beautiful multi-colored Michelle Armas print I had hanging in my office. I was excited to learn we were having a girl, because that meant I could incorporate a lot of the fun, girly items I already owned into a cheerful and glam space for our little lady.
Decorating Style
I like to think my decorating style is classic, simple yet sophisticated, and mostly contemporary with occasional elements of glam thrown in. I wanted this nursery to be welcoming, cheerful and chic all at the same time.

Favorite Items
One of my favorite items in the nursery is the Graham Glider from West Elm. Even though we got it on sale over the holidays, it was still a bit of a splurge. We made the purchase knowing we're going to be spending lots of time in it rocking our baby girl! It has a wonderful high back (perfect for tall people like my husband and me), is extremely comfortable, and doesn't scream "baby" - so we can use it in a different room when the baby gets older.
Advice
Try to re-purpose items you already own to make the room feel like an extension of the rest of your house. I purposefully didn't want the nursery to feel too "babyish," so I kept it light, airy and modern. You're going to be spending a lot of time in this room, so make sure it speaks to your own style but is still a calm and relaxing space for your baby.

Yes, what color is the paint–looks great! Also, is that glider from west elm comfortable and roomy?
Beautiful. What color is the room painted in?
