Description
We think a soft pink nursery is always a stunning choice for baby girls. Shades of pinks used in the bedding, vintage style furniture, wall color, and nursery wall art in this room coordinate to create interest and keep any one pink from becoming overdone.
Design Inspiration
The ballerina artwork reproductions by Kristina Bass-Bailey are classic pieces that will grow with a young lady and fit exquisitely in her big girl bedroom alongside the princess themed personalized kids wall decor by Shelly Kennedy.
Decorating Style
We like to think that our collection of Nursery Canvas Art and Room Decor is so vast that any nursery can be as unique and custom as the home it's in. This nursery is on the eclectic side with its combination of mismatched furniture, traditional chandelier and artwork, with the unexpected bohemian crib bedding keeping the look stylish and fresh.
Project Details
We love grouping wall art, it makes a show-stopping presentation. Our super-easy trick to hang stretched canvas art simply involves holding the artwork in place where you want the piece to end up (basically "eye-balling" it to get it in line with a neighboring piece), then gently pressing the image toward the wall creating a tiny mark from the sawtooth. This will show you exactly where you need to hammer your nail!
The two ballerina artworks above the bed are: "Beautiful Ballerina - Blonde" and "Sweet Ballerina - Brunette" by Kristina Bass-Bailey for Oopsy Daisy
The personalized princess piece "Fairest Girl - Bubblegum" is by Shelly Kennedy for Oopsy Daisy
Pink patterned crib bedding by John Robshaw Textiles
Advice
We always suggest finding your wall art decor first when decorating a room. You can search by theme, color, or by your favorite artist. Finding that piece that is just right provides your theme and color palette, making selecting the rest of the room's decor a breeze.
Love this room! What is the paint color on the wall?
Love this nursery! Did you use a rocker/glider? If so, what color/style did you use? Thanks!
Hi Megi! We’ve added a few close-ups of our favorite spots in the nursery. Hope that helps!
We’re so sorry, Megi! We’re searching high and low for more photos – we designed this nursery quite a few years ago. We’ll keep hunting!
