The main point of inspiration for Blakely’s nursery was the standing plush llama I found at Pottery Barn Kids. The rest of the nursery theme grew from there. I knew we wanted a very girly feel, with bright whites and pinks, and a serious book collection for her to grow with. We started with the bright white furniture and from there found her bedding in the West Elm x PBK collaboration. I loved mixing the Mongolian fur and crushed velvet in the pillows and curtains to add different textures to the room. The styling of her bookcase was the funnest part of the nursery. We used books my mom had saved from childhood as well as some new additions and added some fun additional llama pieces to bring the theme together. This was such a fun project for our very first baby girl!
