Pink and Gray for Baby J

Description

We were ecstatic to find out we were having a girl! I loved the soft look of pink and gray together and felt it was a perfect combination for a sweet baby girl's room!

Design Inspiration

I loved the colors- soft pink and gray but didn't want a "theme" so that made it easy to mix and match certain items. I wanted a tufted headboard on the crib but I had never seen a baby crib done that way and felt like all the cribs looked the same. So I knew we had to create it! I believe that was the driving force of the room once we picked the fabric for the bedding.

Hello, loved your room! I am looking for gray and pink combo too. May I know which paint did you use to color the wall? Thank you !

  2. avatar Clare says:

Hi – I am from England and am looking to do the same wall design as you have but can’t find a wallpaper like this! Is this a paper or did you paint this? I only want 1 feature wall so wouldn’t be too bad and I could get a professional in to do it but wondered if u got a paper with it being on all the walls? Thanks!!! Clare

    Hello!

I was wondering if you still have this crib and if you would be interested in selling it? I have looked all over to find that Victoria crib but nobody sells it anymore. It would be perfect for my daughters vintage nursery.

I love your nursery!!! Just curious, I have the same exact crib for my little girl and cannot find a crib bumper anywhere that works with this crib (mainly because nothing can attach to the headboard). I was wondering if you could tell me where you got yours or if there is a trick to it? Thanks!!

I have been looking and obsessing over this crib at my local Baby Depot. In the store it looks a bit yellowish. I cannot tell if it is the lighting of the store or the actual crib. Can you please tell me if the crib looks yellowish at all? Thank you!

This nursery is absolutely stunning. We are expecting a baby girl in July and I am very set on the colors. Where did you get the comforter & sheets? Our crib that we purchased is from Pottery Barn & in the Expresso color.. If you can point me in the right direction I would so appreciate it. My email is Joyluck2148@yahoo.com Thank you…

  15. avatar Erin says:

What color of paint did you use? Did you match perfectly or go a shade darker?

  16. What a great thing you have done for those mommy’s that see a nursery and fall in love with it or a bedding set and they are not sure how to put it all together and you do it for them, how wonderful.

Love this quilt! Trying to find the pink fabric that was used with the damask for the quilt! Where did you find that?

  19. avatar Coconicole says:

    Amber,

Yes, the quilt was custom made by a lady named Donna at- http://www.kdbugdesigns.com/

I just ordered extra fabric from New Arrivals Inc, sent it to her and she made that, a matching pillow and the matching window valance!

    Hope that helps!

Absolutely love all the details … Can you please let me the make and model of your crib ?? I’ve been looking for the perfect white crib & I think the one you have is the one I’ve been looking for.

  23. avatar Coconicole says:

    Kristine,

Thanks so much! The Square Pink Ruffle pillow is from HomeGoods and the round pink ruffle pillow is from Babies R Us.

  24. avatar Kristine says:

First of all just wanted to say what a beautiful nursery. You did such a lovely job:)
I am due in 2 months, and have been trying to find a pink ruffle pillow for our nursery, what store did you purchase yours from?

  25. avatar Janelle says:

I L-O-V-E this room. We went with Pink & Brown damask (custom bedding) for our baby girls room for the same reason. We didn’t want a theme, and didn’t see anything out there that we liked. I too love the pink & the grey. So classic & girlie & soft. I am so in love with the headboard. Absolutely amazing. I love one of a kind pieces and all of the small touches that add so much. They are so special. You did an amazing job on her room and I am sure she will one day love and appreciate it.

  26. avatar Coconicole says:

    Florence Amber,

Thank you! It’s called a Damask Print. We are really happy with the way it turned out!

  27. avatar Florence Amber says:

Very girly room! I am sure your little angel will love everything about this room! I like the colors and your use of that printed fabric. What kind of print or pattern is that?

  28. avatar Coconicole says:

    Gracie,

Thanks so much! I’m thrilled with the way it came out! Yes, this is a crib that she can grow into a twin bed so she’s stuck with that headboard for awhile! =) The name above the crib was made by the same KD Bug Designs Inc. I just ordered extra fabric from New Arrivals Inc and she embroidered the initials on each fabric swatch and then I got frames from Hobby Lobby super cheap, and framed the swatch.

  29. avatar Gracie says:

This is beautiful! I love the colors….pink & Gray together. I love the way you did the crib.
My little girl has a french style headboard and I was going to do that but her headboard has more curves to it….so I was not sure if I could do it. Who did your name above the crib?
I really like that! Your little girl has a beautiful room and one that she can have for a long time. I take it, that she can use the headboard with a twin size bed. Very pretty!
