Modern Nursery with a Touch of Handmade

Description

Our nursery is a mixture of all of the things I love! I wanted a modern feel to compliment the all white room and panel walls, we wanted to include a modern crib and touches of handmade goods (blocks, letter sign, prints), as well making sure their was a little comfort and dashes of color like the quilt, rug, clouds, mobile, we also included our love for dyi by adding  a dresser, hooks, book shelve and  most of all I wanted it to reflect comfort.

Design Inspiration

I wanted a modern nursery. I was inspired by a quilt and loved the colors of the quilt and knew I wanted to  include the mint, white, grey and black color combination. I had a white canvas room and knew that adding bright accents was important. I love white, gray and black color combinations and are wonderful for nursery decorating especially when spiced up with bright color accents.

Decorating Style

I consider my style fun, modern, and knew I wanted a nursery that reflected it. I am completely in love with how our nursery turned out for our sweet baby boy Luca, our nursery was a labor of love that I designed around my love of patterns, custom made goods, and love for modern and mint color.

Advice

Have fun with your nursery the most important thing is that you love it and that it fits the needs of your baby! I had a blast designing and sourcing all the fun decor & custom pieces.
