Description
My wife and I were engaged at Joshua Tree National Park under the stars so we have a soft spot for the desert. We knew we wanted to bring this feeling of happy into the room. We wanted the room to also feel calm, peaceful, and decluttered, only requiring the necessary furniture. We chose wood tones to make the space feel warm and painted a darker accent wall to make the white crib pop while keeping the other walls light and airy to make the room feel bigger. We wanted to incorporate some Montessori themes in the room by adding a pull-up bar with the mirror and special mobile. We hope this room can grow with our daughter as she does (but not too fast!).
