This sumptuous Mayfair nursery was completed in the summer of 2014 to cater for a beautiful new born baby girl and mother, yet is flexible for an in-house nanny’s day and night needs.
The project was inspired by a pink and gold Charbonnel and Walker chocolate box with hints of dusty rose and gold to add a feminine feel to the design.
Elegant and classic with use of tapestry and lace fabrics bringing richness to the upholstery.
Elegant classic furniture designed by Casa Forma with use of tapestry and lace fabrics bring richness to the upholstery. Mahogany bespoke joinery is clad tapestry which then lightens and brings interest to the joinery design.
For the ultimate luxurious touch, lambskin was used to clad the secret doors that lead to the en suite bathroom.
Functionality is always of the utmost importance and although luxurious fabrics were used, they were only introduced to areas which are not necessarily in reach for everyday use. All fabrics and kid skin leather were also treated to resist marking and staining. A nursery needs to be aesthetically beautiful, nurturing, practical, and functional.
