      Kandie Walker,

hi kandie, it’s really just pieced together from finds i liked. pottery barn bumper pad from several seasons ago that was used for our other children, (however, i did tie ribbon around the existing ribbon to give it some fullness). i layered two crib skirts that i found at garage sales over each other. the pillows are vintage flea market finds and the others my mother-in-law made. thanks for checking it out. have a great day.

Hi Janelle, am really not a fan of frames of different colors, shapes and sizes being placed together, but you did great with that. I concur, this is a REALLY calming room, I love just how bright it is!

I agree, truly a vintage nursery and I love it! I adore that old dresser! Your simple touches brought everything together to give the room an authentic feel. The glass jar for cotton balls, the tin tub, wallpaper inside the shelvings, and the wall panels to the closet. So many beautiful details. I’m getting giddy on this room!

      Mrs.Echon,

thank you for taking the time to peek into our little world….and to leave such a nice comment. there is so much beauty in the things/people that have gone before us. my mom always says that stuff made in the 50’s never gets old…..and she’s right. it just keeps giving and giving, such quality.

      Hi Janelle!
Cute room. We are having twins and I love the wall color since I think it can work for a boy or girl. Do you mind telling us name and color you used? Also, when you repurposed the chair, did you make it a rocker? I am looking for a vintage chair out there but the ones I like are not rockers. Seeing if you or anyone have instructions on how you made a chair a rocker. Thanks!
