Description
This project is a nursery for my new born baby boy. It is very simple and functional, inviting and cozy. Space was saved through limiting furniture pieces and using smart storage! Most of the room was purchased online and through my favorite furniture stores.
Design Inspiration
I wanted the room to be mostly neutral with pops of color to keep it fun. The base color was grey so that I could stick with an elephant theme. I found inspiration through pictures that other mothers had shared who have similar taste, though I knew the direction I wanted to go in.
Decorating Style
My style of decorating is to keep things modern and fresh. I like sleek lines and clean looking spaces. I like a comfortable space, a bright space and a space that is inviting. I do like masculine pieces such as the rocker to add a heaviness to an otherwise light room.
