Little Boy Colorful Nursery

Description

We designed this nursery for our little boy with an outer space theme in mind. I wanted to use bright bold colors, not the typical baby blue. So we went with bright blue on the walls and orange and lime green accents.

Project Details

My husband installed all of the wainscoting himself. He painted it with oil based paint, but I wouldn't recommend that. I had to evacuate the house for the weekend.

I made all of the bedding. I found several tips on blogs, just google it. It's mostly straight lines.

The dresser is an antique I used from my mom garage. We painted it black to match the rest of the furniture.

The crib and glider were our splurges and purchased at Lone Star Baby and Kids.

The letters were painted by all the women in my family.

My sister painted it. We just bought the canvas at Hobby Lobby.

This looks really great! Where did you find the “I love you to the moon and back” painting?

I love the colors, and the room looks so modern, clean and crisp.

I love the bright colors in the room. The white on the bottom tones down the bright blue. I love the letters that your family members did for Landry and you also did a wonderful job on the crib bedding. Good luck with your new little blessing!
