It’s unique, it’s great, it’s simple and it’s elegant! I love it!  My favorite has to be that mobile!

With all the purple my eye is drawn to the mobile. I’m not sure that was the intended focal point but the eye does what it does. I like the texture of the carpeting. A plain rug would have been too monotonous. The built-ins are great.

For me this is really the most beautiful and classic nursery room I have seen on this site. It shows a designing eye, the way all of the elements of the room pull together to make such a wonderful impact.

Great nursery!  I love the color – I just did the same color in one of my babies rooms!  What is the mirror above the changing table hanging from?  Beautifully done.

Love love love. So serene and so girly. Adore the chandelier and the curves on the mirrors, both of which bring sweet sophistication to a lovely baby space! Bedding reminds me of the Annette Tatum Brocade Orchid print {http://www.polkadotpeacock.com/at-crib-set-brocade-orchid.html} which is another popular lavender damasky pattern. What a luck little girl Liesl is!

I have been complaining for weeks that I could not find the perfect purple bedding for our nursery. Someone sent me the link to this along with a link where to find the bedding and I must say… I am IN LOVE! This is the most gorgeous nursery, that I have ever seen! Thanks so much for the inspiration.

        Hi Emily-
Thank you for your response! Did the mirror come with the ribbon or did you add that?

I am the same EXACT way about not having a overly cutesy but rather elegant room.

I hope you don’t mind me asking a few more questions. I am on permanent bed rest and have been since 18 weeks with twins. I have to do everything and pick over the internet so when I came across your nursery, you gave me some great ideas.

        (1) The standing mirror, where did you find that (I actually like that for myself).

        (2) The flowers you have above the crib, where did you find those? Those are absolutely beautiful!

Sorry for all the qs, but I just love what you did!

I absolutely LOVE the peaceful feeling I get while viewing these photographs. This is the exact feeling I’d like to create for our son’s room, but with baby boy elements. Congratulations on the room – just gorgeous!
