Hannah’s Nursery

Description

We wanted a room that wasn't too girly and also didn't want a theme. I did want to incorporate a giraffe in honor of my grandma that past a few years ago and who had a love for giraffes. Once people knew that we ended up with a lot of giraffes for baby Hannah!

Design Inspiration

I knew I wanted striped walls so had to convince my husband to paint them! We used some gray paint that we had left over from our bathroom so then we just had to decide on accent colors. I had found a glider on Craigslist for only $25 with turquoise fabric, which is one of my favorite colors so decided on turquoise and fuchsia for a little girly touch.

Decorating Style

I like modern and contemporary styling, but really like any style if it is put together well.

I guess I would narrow it down to the striped walls because it makes the room and my husband did a great job!

I am usually not very crafty, but I was really into making things and decorating this nursery thanks to the ideas I found from Project Nursery, Pinterest and Etsy.
