I’m a photographer based out of San Diego and if I’m not shooting gorgeous weddings my passion aligns with interior design. When learning we would be having a baby girl I could not wait to design her nursery. I knew I wanted pastels and I knew I wanted it to be “girly” but not over the top. I fell in love with the idea of a Swan symbolizing purity, loyalty, unity, and love. From there I built the nursery design around this idea. I fell deeply in love with a beautiful white Herringbone wainscoting wall for texture coupled with pastel pink panels from Restoration Hardware Baby and Child and the most beautiful animal themed water color pastel crib sheet and matching changing pad by Oilo Studio. My mother made the swan mobile that we hung over the crib to match perfectly. I wanted this nursery to feel tranquil and soft with a hint of pretty.
