Finley Mack's Farmhouse Nursery

Description

After having two boys, my husband and I were ecstatic to finally have a little girl in our home. This nursery was a mix of French Provincial, farmhouse, and shabby chic. I was working on a very tight budget, so most things were either purchased off craigslist or vintage antique marts and re-done.

Design Inspiration

My inspiration was formed through many nights pinning precious nursery ideas on pinterest, and also a little Joanna Gaines "Fixer Upper" inspired.

Decorating Style

This nursery was a mix of French Provincial, farmhouse, and shabby chic. I used a soft color pallet to reflect all things girly.

Project Details

Wall: DIY shiplap from pinterest tutorials

Wall Decor: From Hobby Lobby/Home Goods and painted to match

Jenny Lind Crib: Amazon. Painted in French Linen Chalk Paint by Annie Sloan

Curtains: Drop cloths from Lowes and I used Stitch Witch to make the ruffles.

Night Stand/Dresser: French Provincial found on Craig's list and redone with Annie Sloan Old White and a Behr pink custom paint that I had them match to a picture frame someone gave me.

Old Shutters: Originally hunter green but painted and distressed in Duck Egg, Old White and the matched pink

Bookcase/China Cabinet: Found at a Vintage store that paints old furniture

Old Window and Frames on top of the Bookcase: Old window found at a restore for $2 and stripped and repainted. White Frame with Duck Egg made by me.

Fabric Banner: Made by me with fabric, burlap and ribbon from Hobby Lobby
