Celebrating Elle's first birthday was so much fun. I thought it would be fun to make hot air balloons out of paper lanterns, they turned out so cute we have them hanging in Elle's bedroom now. We needed a spot for kids to get their picture taken, so I found a large balloon at Hobby Lobby and tied it to a basket. Too bad Elle didn't want to get inside! I had the cake made at a bakery and I added a DIY little hot air balloon and candles. I believe fresh flowers are a must at any gathering!
