Description
My husband and I worked on this nursery and couldn't be happier with the way it turned out!!!! He painted and did all the trim work with my bro in law. We are so proud of this room and every minute spent of it was so worth it! DIY is so rewarding!!! Can't wait for our bundle of joy!!!!
Design Inspiration
Our nursery was inspired by a nursery on this site. Carter's room. I loved the wall color and trim and that's where I started. :)
Project Details
Most of the frames I hand painted and put together along with the rocking horse I refinished which was purchased at a garage sale. The lighting is off so it looks more gray, buts it's closer to a powder blue/gray.
I still need my crib bedding and a few more finishing touches :)
Favorite Items
My favorite items are the furniture and the custom frames and horse I made :)
Advice
If you can, DIY IS THE WAY TO GO!!! It saves you a lot of money and it's so rewarding!!! It's your own unique piece! I loved working on this and am so happy with the result. My dream nursery!!! Can't wait to see my baby boy in there!!! Good luck on your nursery projects!!! :)
Where did you buy the large oval frame in the center with the āvā inside?
Thanks!

Hi there,
Would you mind sharing where the crib is from? Thanks!
Where did you buy the large oval frame in the center with the “v” inside? I’m having trouble finding that style that big.
Thanks!
You indicated that, the Behr paint was in an altered Martha Stewart color. Do you recall the name of the color?
The rug from Sam’s is genuine sheepskin, not faux.
what color is the glider? Buckwheat? also, where is the ottoman from?
