Description
I started the project knowing I wanted to use the black and cream Dalmatian print wallpaper as a backdrop; from there I added coral and gold with green palm accents. Ā Nurseries are so fun because you can use themes and colors that are completely separate from the rest of your house!
Design Inspiration
We took a trip to West Palm while I was pregnant and I was inspired by the Hollywood Regency style of the area. Ā I have also loved palm leaf prints since visiting the Greenbrier.
Decorating Style
I love pattern and color!
Favorite Items
I love all of the fabrics and the 'Edie' watercolor.
Do you know what color wall paint this is on the other walls besides the dotted accent wall?

[…] We know that wallpaper is making a comeback. A popular nursery trend: wallpaper in motifs that can grow with your child. These patterns and prints are classy yet kid-friendly. The best part: they have a timeless quality that allows them to be just as relevant as your child becomes a pre-teen, teenager and young adult! […] For Marissa’s nursery, I wanted a feminine color scheme, but not the same old pink that everyone uses. Ā I also wanted to play with texture, and have soft whites and creams with gold accents. Ā I cannot get enough of gold these days. Ā I want to re-do every knob in my house with a matte gold. Ā I wanted minimal pillows for the crib (because I am told it’s unsafe), with a comfy rocker for those late nights. Ā The dresser for me was the icing on the cake and I LOVE it. Ā To start my process, I used an inspirational picture from Project Nursery, and went from there. Ā Link to the inspirational photo gallery- here […]
