This coral and aqua nursery was so much fun to put together. The only things that were purchased new in the room were the crib and the glider. Everything was either repurposed or handmade. The bedding, baby mobile, pillows, pennant flags, and blanket ladder were all made by my husband and me. All the shelves, picture frames, elephant, giraffes, mirror, toy chest, and changing table were repurposed. A little TLC and some paint goes a long way. We either had them laying around the house, got them at thrift stores, or bought them ridiculously cheap on sale.

I love the way you have decorated her room, but please tell me you remove the pillows in the crib before you put her down to sleep! I can’t tell by the photo, but if you have bumper pads, the American Academy of Pediatrics does not recommend using bumpers – especially pillow-like bumpers.

Thank you for your concern, but she’s never even slept in her crib. We have a co-sleeper. I am very aware of the dangers of bumper pads that’s why she doesn’t have them. The pillows are for decoration and obviously would be taken out for sleeping.

Wondering if you can make more of those hangers for the mobile and how much they are. I saw in a previous comment you sold them on your easy shop but I am not seeing them there now. Please let me know. Thank you!

Where did you find that hanger for the mobile? I have been looking for something like that instead of attaching it to the crib. What would you call it?
