Description
This nursery was designed to welcome sweet baby girl Campbell. The room is fairly small so light and bright colors were necessary to keep it feeling as large as possible.
Design Inspiration
The soft eyelet fabric and yellow wall color helped to jump start this project.
Decorating Style
This nursery definitely has a traditional feel, but it is certainly a current traditional mixed with a touch of whimsy.
Project Details
The glider chair came from her big sister's room. The draperies and chair pillow are custom made through Lauren Nicole Design's studio. The crib and chandelier are Pottery Barn.
Favorite Items
My favorite part about her nursery are the window treatments. This was a custom design inspired and planned by me and tied and execute by my fabulous workroom. The substance the bows add to this room is perfect and they do not take away from the rest of the room, keeping it feeling light and bright and as large as possible.
Advice
I would advise keeping a nursery as transitional as possible. Meaning that once your little one is ready to move on to the next stage, and the net, and the next, that your main pieces of the room can grow with them.

Do you happen to know the name of the paint used on the walls? Love the colors!

Such a bright and cheery nursery! I love the color yellow and the window treatments are beautiful. I really like the bows. The view out of the windows is beautiful!
