Blue and Gray Whale Nursery
Design Inspiration
My inspiration for this nursery came from the Land of Nod bedding. The design is a mixture of stripes, polka dots and whales. The deep blue color in the closet and the bench cushion was chosen to match the bedding.

Project Details
I've always loved the look of the gray and white horrizontal stripes on the walls. We painted the walls before we knew it was a boy knowing the accent color in the closet would be pink or blue. I originally wanted to put letters above the crib, but after a recent earthquake in Napa, we decided against hanging anything above the crib. My husband is not a fan of decals ;-)

Favorite Items
My very handy husband built the window bench and I made the pillow covers and bench cushion. My second favorite thing are the little nike shoes which were my husbands when he was a baby
