Description
Once I found out I was having a boy I knew exactly how I wanted the nursery to look. I went with a black and white modern theme. I mixed bold patterns and touches of gray to break up the bold contrast of the black and white. You won't believe the one item that brought a "pop" of red to the room!
Design Inspiration
I did a vintage theme for my daughters nursery so I wanted to do the opposite with my sons nursery and go modern. I was in love with the idea of using black and white all through the room.
I loved the idea of embracing him being a boy and have inspirational quotes in his room. I designed the prints that are located above his changing table.

Advice
This look is made to be bold, don't be shy with the prints used in the room. The key to balance was the use of gray on bigger items like, the dresser and the curtains. Also, the crib and changing table helped add more dimension to the room with the more natural wood look.
