Description
I knew I wanted something bright, colorful and fun. We eventually found out we were expecting a boy, however, this room is still pretty gender neutral and most of the elements could work for either a boy or girl.
Design Inspiration
I started by collecting pictures of things I liked from Pinterest, Etsy, etc., but I was really inspired once I found the bedding. After I settled on that, I kind of just worked everything else around it. The broad range of hues in the bedding made for endless possibilities in the room's overall color scheme.
Decorating Style
My general decorating style can best be described as "cozy" contemporary. I also like to experiment with different colors, patterns and textures.

Advice
Start with one or two pieces you love, and then build your room from there. Also, creating an Olioboard where you can move your ideas around to see what will or won't work together can save you time and money purchasing the wrong things.

Oh, thank you! Yes, the giraffes are one of my favorite things about the room and one of the first purchases I made.
