Design Inspiration
Inspired by confetti cupcake sprinkles and funfetti cake.
Decorating Style
Confetti polka dots and sprinkles with coordinating touches of coral, peach, mint, and yellow.
Project Details
We decorated our mantle with a polka dot burlap banner (etsy) and our DIY chalkboard framed draped with a circle dot garland, and pictures from our daughter's 1st year. We had a Instagram clothespin line over the drink station and a Time Capsule activity for the adults to make predictions about Ashlynn and life in 15 years.
The dessert table consisted of funfetti cupcakes, confetti dipped Oreos, funfetti blondie bars, pink lemonade sugar cookies, and of course a smash cake. We also supplied little cups of goldfish and animal crackers for the littlest guests to enjoy. The drink station included water, soda, milk boxes, and a coral orange lemonade punch.
Lastly, we gave out DIY bubbles for favors. Baby food jars with chalkboard painted lids, pipe cleaner bubble blowers, and name tags wrapped with baker's twine.
Favorite Items
I loved the dessert table and streamer backdrop, but reading the Time Capsule predictions were great. I can't wait to pack them away in the baby book and open them up when our daughter turns 16!

I love the time capsule! I plan to do something similar for my baby's birthday. I'm having trouble finding a format for cards for people to fill out. Did you make up your own or order them?
