Description
Arley's mint and gold nursery is a hodge podge of things we love- mostly painted hand me downs from her brother's old nursery and things found around the house.
Design Inspiration
I knew I wanted to incorporate grandma's afghan into the room. It's filled with over six decades of memories for my family and it's bright, beautiful colors made it the perfect piece to tie everything together. My grandma was also a bird lover and there are several nods to birds in the room as well.
Decorating Style
an eclectic mix of whimsy and earthy

Favorite Items
Grandma's afghan. It holds so many memories for me from growing up and I love that we'll be able to pass those memories on to our daughter even though her great grandma passed away before she was born.
Advice
Shop your home and picture items you love with a coat of paint. You might be surprised what you already have readily available!
