Description
Creating this room for our sweet baby boy truly was a labor of love! My main goal for the nursery was to create something that was bright and whimsical but not too "babyish", that way he can grow into it.
Design Inspiration
I was inspired by this room's color scheme, striped wall, and bedding http://projectnursery.com/2010/06/hawkens-nursery-by-anyon-a-k-a-mom/ Once those details were in the place the ideas just kept rolling in! I also created a board on Pinterest that helped guide & inspire me along the way. You can check it out here: http://pinterest.com/delightnoted/baby-b-s-orange-blue-grey-nursery/
Decorating Style
My design style varies but I tend to gravitate towards clean and modern rooms with a touch of whimsy. I also love to add pops of bold, bright colors through out my home.

I honestly poured so much love into creating this room that it's hard for me to pick favorites! The DIY projects (made over second- hand dresser, table, and chandelier) definitely rank high because those add a unique and personal touch to the room. I really like how the striped wall breaks up the room and I adore the little reading nook with the personalized name blocks!
Advice
You don't have to spend big bucks to create the room of your dreams. You can easily recreate high-end rooms by putting your bargain shopping skills into good use in stores such as Target, Home Goods, & Ikea. Don't be afraid to mix different styles and patterns and if you consider yourself creative add a personal touch to the room by including a few of your own DIY projects!
Hello, what color is the table? The turquoise/aqua table?

Hi Chrissy, it’s only 2 colors. It must be the lighting.
Are there three colors in this room or two or is it the lighting? The color on the wall without the stripes looks to be a midtone between the other two you mentioned (BM dove white & owl gray).
Hi Roshena. The letter B is from Hobby Lobby. It was originally gold and I spray painted it.
Where did you get the wooden B wall letter?

Hi Katie. Sorry for the delay in my response. We did not sand the table down prior to painting it because it was laminate. I actually share details here on how we painted it http://delightfullynoted.blogspot.com/2013/05/old-dresser-makeover-how-to-paint.html
Sorry for the delay in response! I used bins in a lot of the drawers to keep the small things orderly (like baby socks, toiletries, pacis, etc…)
Did you sand the table before spray painting it?
How did you organize your drawers in the dresser?

Thank you. I lucked out and found them at the Land of Nod outlet!
Where did you get the curtains? :) I LOVE this room!!!
[…] I adore this wall. Bold stripes and little pops of color make such a statement in this room featured on Project Nursery. […]
Thanks Veronica! I forgot to mention the paint colors are by Benjamin Moore and called Gray Owl & Dove White.
Love this! What is the paint colour on the walls?
Thank you so much Anna!
Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!
Hi Ana! The white shelf is from Ikea. I am having a hard time finding it on their website but if I come across the name I will come back and let you know.
Hi the white shelf you have in the corner with your monitor on it – is that from Ikea? Do you recall the name of it? It would be perfect for our nursery – but we’re in Canada and I am wondering if they have that same product here.
Hi Kristin,
We actually got the glider from a specialty store in the Chicago area called Cribs to College, however, I do believe that some Buy Buy Baby stores also may carry the line (Story Time Series)
Where did u find ur chair?
