Description
I wanted Adalyn's room to be bright and cheery and somewhere I would enjoy hanging out too. I'm all about DIY projects and definitely enjoyed piecing everything together. We were also working with a delicate budget and a tiny room, which created some extra challenges.
Design Inspiration
My first big inspiration was the chevron wall. I saw some ideas on pinterest and decided to go for a vibrant look rather than most of the tone on tone designs floating around. The rest of my inspiration came from the beautiful Alexander Henry Barcelona floral fabric that became the inspiration for the crib bedding.
Decorating Style
My decorating style is definitely out there. I love color and everything fun. I try to mix it some traditional pieces especially in furniture.

I love the crib bedding. I think the color combinations came out fabulous.
Advice
I recommend taking your time and gather things slowly. Don't expect it to come together in a weekend. And go for it with color :)

Indeed, such bold and daring colors. That big chevron pattern painted on the wall is bold and daring, too.
