First baby, first grandchild, first niece… this little one was already spoiled in the womb. My amazing sister Evonne knew right away she wanted to plan my baby shower and after months of her dealing with my craziness the day finally arrived. I wanted it to be light, airy and pink! I usually shy away from too much pink but in this case it was just perfect. We took the design inspiration from the invitations, Pinterest & Etsy and threw in some DIY projects, which made it so personal and beautiful!
Design Inspiration
The design inspiration was based around the DwellStudio invites by Tiny Prints. The print is called Gio in the Lemon colors. We wanted it to be clean, modern, girly and lovely.
Decorating Style
Clean, simple, light & airy

Advice
Keep it simple. Pick one main pattern or print and choose solid pieces to accent. Don't over-accessorize!
You have a wonderful view! Is this your home? Because I envy those windows. I also love the party details, like those flowers! Are those carnations in one of the vases?

I really like the paint-a-block concept for a baby shower activity. Because I think the “design a onesie is getting to be old.
