Description

A sweet and sun-filled nursery, that’s equally welcoming for parents, big sister, and the brand new baby.

Design Inspiration

I was inspired by rooms that are soothing and welcoming for newborns, but also comfortable for the parents that spend time in them. Pinterest was my home base for research and inspiration.

Decorating Style

It depends on what a client wants, but in this case, clean, fresh and girly.

Project Details

Ikea for mirrorpendant lightshelvesfaux sheepskin rugwoven baskets.

Favorite Items

Definitely the FLOR rug. Not only is it a beautiful focal piece, but it's also extremely functional. The rug comes in 19" x 19" tiles, which can be assembled in any format. For families with pets or toddlers, it's a no-brainer - if a tile is worn or damaged, you can replace just one piece instead of the entire rug.

Advice

Check out my Pinterest board for inspiration, and try and find things that are all in a similar colour palette. In this case we went heavy with pink, and accented with white, grey, and dark brown.

Yeah, agree. I am trying to see what design it is, but it’s too far.

Your rug looks really interesting. Wish you had a close-up of it where we can really appreciate the patterns.
