Description
Previously, the house was decorated in a pretty simple style so when we bought over the place, we decided our elder child should have her own room and space.
I went looking around finding things are relatively expensive over here and there are not much hardware stores for me to get what I really need. So most of the stuffs are either via ikea (the reading corner books display, shelves and standing lamp), repainting / upholestry some of our current furnitures or pottery barn kids (sales section).
Wallpapers are not really practical over at this country hence instead of using those. So the walls are actually painted into pink and white stripes to lengthen the low ceiling.

Potterybarnkids.com sales section have lovely items on sale from time to time. I picked up those pink hooks.

The bed. It was originally in white, we have it repainted into pink to match her room colors.

Sometimes a change of color for our current furnitures can changed the whole look. Do explore on that option.
