Baby Will’s Nursery

Description

We wanted to create a beautiful nursery for our Baby Boy Will!  Something that was soothing / calm, yet vibrant...sophisticated, but not overly mature.  We used soft colors with bold accents (hello zebra rug!) to achieve this.

Living in NYC, space is tight, so we had to be creative to fit all of the must haves in his room.   Keeping the furniture light in color also helped the room to feel more light and airy.

Design Inspiration

We were inspired by another nursery we saw here on Project Nursery!  (They even helped me track down some of the items...thank you!).  We kept many of the key elements, but customized to fit our style and space.

Decorating Style

I have love a "glam" / modern look...I love chandeliers, nailheads, tufting mirrored furniture, etc.  Knowing we were expecting a little boy, I wanted to cut back on the "glam" look, and go more modern.

Very lovely room. I got my eyes on your giraffe mirror and elephant lamp, though.
