Vintage Cottage Nursery

Description

A cottage meets vintage cozy space for our brand new daughter. Pale pinks and yellows collide with grey to create a space perfect for any little girl.

Design Inspiration

The design was inspired by the prints in the room of Winslow & Wellesley, the cute elephant and rabbit, courtesy of Sarah Jane Studios. The prints then inspired the personality of the room and color palette. I love pulling cottage, modern, and vintage together to create an eclectic, lived in space.

Decorating Style

Our style is definitely cottage with a nod towards vintage & modern. So, of course, this space flows with the rest of our house.

My hubby and I bought the hemnes dresser for a change table as well but when we set it up we found it was a big too high. How did you cut the height down as the wood is compressed wood isn’t it?

Where did you get the footrest for the glider? We are looking at the same glider and I do not like the ottomans that come with it but I love the idea of a small angled footrest. Cannot find it anywhere.

I love this! The pink is just the right shade to be dreamy, and the elephant prints are so sweet!

Oh my, the glider is one of the most comfortable chairs we own. We sat in SO many before making a final decision and not only is the back high enough for my tall husband but it’s incredibly comfortable:)

I’m wondering if you think the glider is comfortable- I’m looking for something similar and I want to make sure its actually a comfortable chair and not just pretty!

Just lovely with a lot of cute little touches. I love those wicker baskets all lined up on both sides of the changing table.
