Picking out nursery furniture can be overwhelming. There are so many options out there it's hard to narrow it down. When I first found out I was pregnant, I was constantly dreaming up designs for the nursery. It took me months and many shopping trips before I finally settled on my nursery furniture. I knew it was a major decision, and I wanted to pick something timeless that I could hopefully use for more than one baby. The Davenport Baby Collection from Baby Appleseed definitely fits that bill! And now you have the chance to win the Davenport Crib and Combo Changer (a $1398 value!). The Davenport crib boasts all bells and whistles a parent could wish for in a crib: - Solid wood construction - 3 level adjustable mattress support system - a Stationary side, in other words, no moving parts - 2 compartment under crib drawer for that much needed extra storage - Converts to toddler bed and full size bed. And get this, a Toddler conversion rail is included! The combo changer comes fully assembled and is also beautifully crafted. And yet there are even more reasons to feel great about Baby Appleseed. With the purchase of one of their cribs, you can choose from one of four reforestation projects where ten trees will be planted on your child’s behalf. They have partnered with American Forests to ensure that these trees will grow over the years and help shape a better tomorrow for both you and your …

babycenter app

There seems to be an app for everything these days, including several GREAT ones to keep up with your baby's development and your growing belly! Two of my favorite books during my pregnancies were Your Pregnancy Week By Week and What to Expect When Your Expecting. I also loved reading all of Jenny McCarthy's books—Belly Laughs was my favorite! So now, instead of thumbing through all the information in paperback, you can download free apps like What to Expect, which gives you a weekly breakdown of your body and baby, a timeline tracker and a great way to store your growing belly pics. Babycenter's My Pregnancy Today is probably the most comprehensive daily pregnancy app. You simply enter in your due date, and the app turns your smart phone into an encyclopedia of information relating to you and your baby! The videos on this app are amazing, showing the different phases of development during all three trimesters, and it's a wonderful resource to meet other expecting parents, compare stories, share pictures and meet new friends! Are you carrying high or low? Does the baby have a fast heart rate or slow? Is it morning sickness or all day sickness? If you just can't wait until that 18-20 week ultrasound, BabyGender Predictor takes all factors into play and calculates for you: boy or girl! Of course, feel free to also message me, odds are my guess is as good as theirs! It's still a fun app to try, and it's free! …

Kristin

I have always been the kind of person that likes a challenge. The more I'm told it can’t be done, the more motivated it makes me. But being a mom is definitely my biggest challenge yet! Like so many first time moms, I am constantly trying to find the balance between motherhood, managing the household, work and fun. But this never stops me from being on the go with my daughter and I always find a way to meet a deadline. I am a huge fan of throwing parties and entertaining. I think I would throw a dinner party every week if my husband would allow me to get away with it. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the people I love the most enjoy themselves. I find inspiration in my everyday life and of course via Pinterest! Design just matters to me. Sometimes I find myself more worried about how something is going to look rather than its actual function. I even have a knack of recycling old items just by giving them a new place in the home. Coming to work for Project Nursery really has been a dream come true. I am able to have the best of both worlds. I am blessed with the opportunity to be at home with my daughter while still being able to put those marketing, social media and networking skills to work. Unfortunately, the team is spread out throughout the country so I haven't found a way to throw a dinner party …

Tree Wall Decal with Blowing Leaves

When I found out I was having a little girl, I had dreams of transforming her room pink and painting butterflies on the wall. Well, truth be told, I do not have an artistic bone in my body—drawing stick figures can be a challenge for me. I think that my pregnancy made me feel like I was Superwoman and gave me the confidence to take on the project myself. Needless to say, the room did not turn out as planned. I remember thinking, there has to be an easier way! The wall decals from Cherry Walls are a great solution if you are someone like me who wants to create a magical nursery for your little one but need a little—okay, in my case, a lot—of help! They carry a large variety of designs from classic wall art to modern designs. Want to redecorate a room? You can easily remove the decals and reapply them in a different room. Does it get any better than that? Cherry Walls has many different styles to choose from—there is something for every room of your home. The husband and wife team combined their creativity to design original decals that will please everyone in your family. WIN IT! Cherry Walls is giving a $100 gift certificate to one lucky Project Nursery reader. HOW TO ENTER: To enter, visit Cherry Walls, and let us know which decal is your favorite in a comment below. Contest ends Friday, March 2, 2012 at 11:59 PST. EXTRA ENTRIES …
