Bitty Birdie Boutique

As the mom of a six-week-old baby, I can certainly attest to the speed at which children grow out of their clothes. I've already retired the newborn outfits, and I'm afraid that many of the 0-3 month outfits are about to bite the dust too. And I can't even count the number of clothes my two-year-old has already whipped through. Even though I know my boys are going to outgrow their clothes quickly, I still want them to wear quality clothes that look great too. I just don't want to spend a fortune to do so. Bitty Birdie Boutique offers top-notch brands at much lower prices. They are offering our readers the chance to win a $100 gift certificate to their boutique chock-full of great looking new and pre-loved children's clothing. Enjoy your favorite high-quality children's brands, such as Catimini, Lilly Pulitzer, Burberry, Mini Boden, Matilda Jane, Deux Par Deux, Lili Gaufrette, Papo d’ Anjo, Lacoste and more! Big City Moms for Project Nursery-Nicole Benitez Photography_031

A couple of weeks ago, we packed up and headed west to partake in Los Angeles' "Biggest Baby Shower Ever," put on by the original Big City Moms, Risa Goldberg and Leslie Venokur. The star-studded baby shower not only educated moms-to-be but created a fun and friendly venue for marketers to share the latest and greatest with new and expecting families. Heading to Los Angeles meant we had to call on our friends, the beautiful Lonni Paul and Tiffani Theissen, co-founders of PetitNest. Our booth featured their Noe dresser and crib along with the Paon crib set. It was a real treat to catch up with the other "Team PN" during the show. From Left to Right: Rebekah Dempsey, Nicole Benitez, Tiffani Thiessen, Lonni Paul, Pam Ginocchio, Melisa Fluhr   What began as a virtual friendship with party stylist Rebekah Dempsey, of A Blissful Nest, resulted in a stunning, baby shower sweets display for all to enjoy. Cleverly themed around "Look Who's Coming," the real star was the owl—a beloved baby shower icon and no-fail, gender-neutral look for any party or nursery. Faux bois owls were the inspiration, and all the little details fell into place naturally. Of course, none of the magic could have been pulled off without the talent of a few ladies with a knack for baking and genuine artistry. A large fondant owl sat perched above the tablescape. Fondant master Brittany Rumohr of Edible Details, stole the show with her attention to detail and impressive fondant toppers. …

Designer Bedroom for Girl

On February 15th, a mere three weeks ago, Little Crown Interiors received a very exciting email from a producer at the daytime talk show The Doctors. She reached out to Little Crown Interiors to provide expert advice for an upcoming episode—solving one problem, three ways. The problem: children who aren't sleeping in their own beds at night. The solutions: A pediatric approach by Dr. Sears, of The Doctors; a consultation with a professional sleep expert; and a room makeover and Q&A with Naomi Alon and Gerri Panebianco of Little Crown Interiors. The episode centers around the O'Hara family and their 5-year-old daughter, Ella, who's sleeping in her parents' bed at night. Using beautiful furniture and accessories from Rosenberry Rooms, Little Crown Interiors created a calming and beautiful big girl room, filled with items aimed at giving Ella a space where she is comfortable and confident to sleep on her own. The first thing we did was rearrange the floor plan to place the bed in the center of the room. The beautiful headboard, bed crown and bedding by Addison's Wonderland make a perfect focal point! Ella needed plenty of storage for the special things she loves, so we chose a nightstand and dresser with graceful lines and lots of drawers. One of our goals was to change everything in the entire room. While that may be an extreme approach for many families, we felt that Ella needed a complete "reset" from her previous environment. We replaced her existing beadboard wall …
