Summer's officially here! Have you made your family's vacation plans yet? Last summer, we were all set to take our nearly two-year-old son on his first hotel outing. I know many hotels offer cribs, but...I wasn't ready to put my kiddo in one of those. I needed something I could trust. So I searched for something that would be easy to travel with and work for my toddler. When I say searched, I mean searched—I think I looked at pretty much every portable crib on the market. Once I found the highly recommended BabyBjörn Travel Crib Light 2, my search was over. It had everything I needed. Weighing in at 11lbs and packing up neatly in its case, the Travel Crib isn't a burden to carry or pack. And best of all, it can be used from birth to around three years of age (depending on the height of your child). Many other traditional pack and plays have a fairly low weight limit and aren't really big enough for a toddler to stretch out in. But with our Travel Crib Light, my son, now almost three, used it just last weekend. I also love the way the crib is built. Its footprint is larger than the top of the crib, which makes it more stable and less likely to tip. Even with a standing, walking and bouncing toddler in there, I felt he was safe.
