I was commissioned to make a cake for this shower and last minute (the day before) the client asked if I could “throw” together a dessert table to go with the cake. She didn’t have a theme other than blue since the mommy-to-be was having a boy. This is what I came up with.

Hi! I’m Jodie ~ Designer, Crafter, Party Enthusiast and MOM... based in Livingston County, Michigan. I’ve always been a party girl with a passion for “WOW”ing the guests. The majority of my career has been spent working on corporate events in the automotive industry {did I mention I’m in Michigan?}, and while that is hardly fun or exciting, it did pay the bills! When the auto industry took a nose dive a few years back, I was fortunately laid off. Yes, I said fortunate! That’s because it forced me to evaluate my career plans and has led me to this point. Oh, and in between then and now, I got married and had two amazing boys {Nico and Vincent ~ hence the name Party NV}This brings me to my inspiration... THEM! Designing parties and decorations for their enjoyment has been the highlight of my life! To watch their little faces light up in amazement is indescribable and the driving force behind what I do. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that I absolutely LOVE being creative!!!Party NV was formed as a way for me to share my passion, my love and my creativity for parties with YOU! My goal is to provide party designs and accessories that you and your guests will be amazed with, the same way my children are.Thank you for stopping in... I look forward to doing business with you!

That cake is simply breathtaking and too cute for words! The details — the crib, the alphabet blocks, the baby bottle, etc. — are adorable. Looks really yummy!
