I wanted to design a gender neutral nursery for our soon-to-be first baby that was light and airy. We wanted a room that the child could grow into without feeling like we had to redesign in a couple years.

I like the soft, light and delicate colors of this room and the slight contrast created by the green-colored stripes on the wall.

I really like the fabric for the bedding and the curtains. So delicate and lovely. I like the wicker shelf and the framed art on the wall, too. Good luck on your delivery!

What size and color Poms did you choose?  There are too many options!

I used green tea, mint julep, moss and 2 in powder blue.  Mint julep is the lightest and moss is the darkest.  I bought the 5 piece set, which I think was 1 small, 2 medium, 2 large.  Mint julep was small, both powder blues were medium, and green tea and moss were large.  They were really easy to fluff out and hang!

Hi – I am having the hardest time trying to find neutral bedding. I cant quite see your pattern. Where did you find yours? I love the stripes! The room is so cute.

I looked all over for cute neutral bedding.  This is Annette Tatum, and the pattern is Forest Whisper.  I love it b/c it has a lot of blue but looks more feminine to me, so I think it really works for both genders.  I ordered it laylagrace.com.  Serena and Lily also had really cute neutral patterns.
