Before I was pregnant with our son this room was a boring neutral wall colored spare room which lacked personality and style and was very uninspiring. So when I became pregnant with our son I looked forward to designing and decorating his bedroom and gathered many ideas for baby nurseries off the net. One of my favorite sites for ideas was and still is project nursery. When we found out we were having a boy at our 20 week scan I then narrowed down our color of choice for his walls to be aqua with blue, green and orange accessories. I designed his room around these colors. I wanted to create  a room for Toby that was not to babyish and will grow with him. I am not a big fan of themed rooms so stayed cleared of these. The baby bedding I had bought before I was pregnant with our first child a daughter called Katelyn and cause she was a girl I did not use this bedding in her room. But found it worked perfectly with the wall color I had chose for Toby’s room. The wall color I choose was Resene Foam and my Dad kindly painted the room for us before Toby was born. I found the aqua wall color to be a great base color; in which works easily with accessories  and it makes the accessories pop. I found choosing the wall color was a great starting point when designing the room and then I based the accessories, bedding and curtains etc to work with it.
