Having a fun and happy space for your little one to come home to makes the excitement of having a new bundle of joy that much better! We designed this bright and happy nursery for a repeat client of ours, and we used some of the items from her son’s nursery for her little princess. She requested the aqua, turquoise and gold color scheme, so we knew this arrow wallpaper would be the perfect backdrop.
We always love to add a little personal touch to each one of our designs. In this room, we made a custom name plaque out of string art. We spray painted the frame gold and created baby’s name with coral colored string and gold nails.
It’s so smart to get a crib that can be handed down to your next child, and we were able to reuse our client’s crib that she had purchased for her first baby. If you choose a neutral option, it can easily be worked into your next nursery design. We also reused the crib skirt she had before by covering the navy ribbon with gold ribbon for her new nursery.
The dresser we chose was a fun find from a vintage store that we had painted a coral color to accent the coral arrows in the wallpaper. A sprinkling of gold confetti gives it a little added sparkle.
Every little one deserves a space that is all her own. But remember that the nursery is just as much for you as it is for your baby, so make it a happy place where you love to spend time too. Sweet dreams!
