Muslin Blankets from Cuski

When you have a new baby, sometimes it seems like blankets are a dime a dozen. Aside from teeny tiny baby clothes, they seem to be everyone’s favorite non-registry gift to give at a baby shower, but once you’re a new parent, you’ll realize that those well-meaning guests were onto something. Whether you use them to keep baby covered when you’re out and about, to block the sun during a nap time stroll, as a nursing cover or as a swaddle, there aren’t too many baby products out there that are as useful as blankets.

In my opinion, not all blankets are created equal, and although each one has its place in baby’s life, my all-time favorite is the muslin swaddle. I had quite the collection when my daughter was born, and they got more use than almost anything else in our home when it came to baby products. Now that we’re gearing up for baby number two, I’ve been on the hunt for the next great swaddle, and I think I may have found it with the fabulous blankets from Cuski.

Rainbow Nights Sweet DreameezZ from Cuski

Cuski is a British brand that was born out of two mothers’ search for soft, durable and cuddle-friendly blankets and loveys for their babies. When they couldn’t find anything that checked off everything on their wish list, they set out to create their own, and the results are nothing short of amazing.

I am so smitten with the gorgeous patterns and super-soft material of these blankets. Rumor has it that life doesn’t pause for babies the second time around the same way it does for a first-born, so I’m really excited about Cuski’s Sweet DreameezZ. They’re made from black muslin, so not only are they the perfect lightweight blanket or swaddle, but they’re designed to block the light too. I’m hoping that with a Sweet DreameezZ draped over the stroller, our baby will sleep peacefully even when we’re out and about. And you must check out the best-selling Rainbow Nights Sweet DreameezZ—it’s such a gorgeous, one-of-a-kind design!

Cuski also offers The Great Swandoodle and Mini and Midi Swandoodles. These amazing, multi-use bamboo muslin blankets will keep baby cool when it’s hot and warm when it’s cold. As a nursing mama and a huge fan of swaddling, I can assure you that these will definitely be put to the test!

Amore Rose Great Swandoodle from Cuski

All of Cuski’s products are made amongst the olive groves in Turkey—doesn’t that just sound dreamy? The muslin is made from organically grown bamboo, and in addition to being made from natural materials, it is also breathable and anti-bacterial. Cuski products are certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard and OEKO-TEX, and they are all free from azo dyes and chromium.

Cuski products hold a NHS protocol, meaning that they’ve been approved and endorsed by the National Health Service for use within hospitals. Mini Swandoodles, Sweet DreameezZ, Cuskiboos and Miniboos are all used in NICU and SCBU units for premature babies in the UK. I don’t know about you, but that gives me so much peace of mind.
